Before I started working with “Total Wellness for You” and Coach Michelle, my self-esteem and confidence were on the floor. But while working with you, you made me feel accomplished, capable, and able. You made me feel like I could do things I never thought I could get back to. I know this may seem silly in the short amount of time I was with you, but it’s true. You helped me more than you can ever understand. Your positivity was impeccable. And not to mention I lost 24 pounds in 3 months with you! That’s something I couldn’t do on my own. You helped me learn that food isn’t the enemy, that it’s okay to eat, and snack in a healthy manner. You opened my eyes to soooo many great things and ideas as far as food goes and I couldn’t ever thank you enough for that.
As a cancer survivor, I was in a spot, emotionally and physically, where I was feeling very “beaten”. I had zero energy and was living a life out of my control. My mental health was also suffering because of this. I had gained back the few pounds that I’d been able to lose and the medication I was still taking for cancer treatment made it difficult to move because of joint and muscle pain. I was a mess – literally! I knew I needed help and so, reached out to “Total Wellness for You”. First off, you didn’t judge where I was and how far I have to go to get healthy. You just accepted me and asked MY goals – that was huge. Everyone else was telling me what I HAD to do and never once asked what my goal was. I didn’t just want to be cancer-free but I wanted to get healthier all around. You provided a plan that was do-able and helped me focus on nutrition and making the plan work. Keeping accountable has always been an issue, and still sometimes is for me, but you have been accountable to me and that keeps me on track. You don’t expect me to be perfect, but you encourage me to do the best I can. I’ve lost weight, my blood pressure (still with medicine) is back to a normal range, I’ve lost 16+ inches, my BMI has gone down and I feel better with more energy. THANK YOU for your help and your patience and caring. It means the world!
I was able to breakthrough one of the toughest things in my life … that being losing enough weight to be happy again (40+ pounds). I had gained a ton since 2016 after exiting the military. I lost my sense of “why” for health and you helped me find it. Now I have a solid foundation to build off of, and I’ve come too far to turn back. You’re great at accountability without making your clients feel pressured.
My biggest victory working with “Total Wellness for You” … where do I start?! Obviously the feeling better / more energy. The smaller number on the scale. The looking less puffy. The new village I’ve found. But for me it’s the grace and knowledge I’ve obtained with this life style. (and still leaning!). The knowledge of how to “limp” my way thru a special occasion or even vacation week and enjoy myself, not physically feeling bad or in pain in the process, and how to get right back on track without a struggle. How to truly LIVE from now on. To know I don’t ever have to feel that way again by simply making more educated, healthy choices is just so liberating!
The “Total Wellness for You” coaching that had the most impact is the nutrition coaching and accountability. I went into this thinking I would just do the bare minimum to help my husband stay on track, but I committed to the coaching as well and I saw major changes! Now, this is how I eat majority of the time and I lost a ton of extra fat and it’s stayed off.
I have two major victories while working with “Total Wellness for You”. Finding a sustainable way to become healthy and lose weight, and in doing so, reversing my sleep apnea and high blood pressure. I no longer use a Cpap machine and my doctor is tweaking my medication because now my blood pressure is too low. It still boggles my mind that the person I see in the mirror is the same person I see 40 pounds heavier in pictures from last year. I feel like a completely different person and I have no intention of returning to my former self! A bi-product of getting healthy and losing weight is that I have become stronger both physically and mentally. I did not realize how much my lack of health was affecting my confidence and overall mental well being. And because of that, I’m willing to push myself a little harder physically because I know I can do it or get pretty darn close. The energy I have now is amazing and I feel really empowered when I can accomplish something I wouldn’t have even attempted before!
“Total Wellness for You” is such an amazing experience. I chose to work with Coach Michelle because I want to be the best version of myself. I am getting better sleep more often than not. I feel so much better and I’m making better food choices, even though they aren’t perfect plan choices. The things I have enjoyed the most is: helping to develop a consistent routine, gradual progression in workouts that remained challenging, and a better focus on total body experience instead of “just cardio” or “weightlifting”.
While working with “Total Wellness for You”, my biggest victory has been the ability to accept what we have been calling the “life events”. Basically eating off plan, and then get right back on track with the understanding that those events lengthen the timeline but no guilt. Also, the consistency of results when I follow plan. Also you listen to me. You acknowledge that I have an issue with feeling deprived and have given me options to work with that.

So by far my biggest accomplishment while working with “Total Wellness for You” is knowing I had an amazing support system! And with that support I was able to achieve the smallest goal of losing weight and overall just feeling better! I also loved how you would reach out to see how things were going and anytime I had a question, the answers you had helped out in every way possible. I’m doing this so I can be there for my family and future kids. I want to be able to play with them and overall do things with them.
I am so happy I chose “Total Wellness for You”. My biggest victory so far has been not drowning my sorrows, sadness, and frustration in a bottle of cabernet and a bag of tortilla chips. Seriously! Also, I am so glad you added podcasts to your points system because I had gotten out of the habit of listening while I walk.

I joined the coaching program and came out a better person in more ways than I ever imagined. She transformed the way I think about food … what I eat, when I eat, and how much I eat. My clothes feel different and I have a pep in my step. I am more confident and full of energy.
